Most of us know that if we conserve energy, we could save money on our electricity bill. The less we use, the less we buy. But it’s very easy to forget to take action toward saving power. Or maybe you’re just not sure how to.

That’s why we created Do Watts Right. It is intended to remind you that you actually have the ability to lower your electric bill.

Everywhere you find the Do Watts Right logo you’ll also find an easy, little to no cost tip for how to save electricity. You’ll see newspaper ads with tips and each month in Texas Co-op Power magazine we will include a new Do Watts Right tip, too.

We’re affected by the factors that influence our electric bill, such as the fluctuating price of natural gas and higher costs of doing business. The Do Watts Right campaign is simple.

It’s just an effort to help you save money on your electric bill by reminding you to conserve and giving you some ideas as to how. Little, simple steps to conserve power could save you as much as 30 percent on your annual electric bill.
